Strider Knives Strider knives is a privately owned company. Both owners served in the armed forces & felt there was a need for a "hard core heavy duty work knife" that any soldier could afford. This is the result that you now see. Knives are meant to be used very hard by not only service men & women, but also law enforcement. When you look at each model you can see they did their homework. I could have really used one during my three years while serving overseas! Strider knives are meant to be used & are not perfect. Most knives have a few marks but that is the way it is. "Each has it's own personality" as some of you have said!
