Shipping Options

We ship world wide. For USA anyone can handle you in the shop. For international only Dan or Yuko at this time is to handle international orders. Email dan@plazacutlery.com

UPS is our primary shipper and they pick up each day around noon time. For International, Next day and 2 day shipping we can call them back out but the order needs to be in by 3:30PM PST otherwise the package will ship the next day.

We also use FedEx but we do not use them as much so it does cost more. Ask and I will get the rate for you. We can also ship "United States Postal Service" but it will take us a few days to ship out. The post office are very busy in our area and I have waited as long as an hour in 15 minutes. I try and go during their slow time and I go or Lois goes for me! It is no problem but if you are in a hurry use UPS! USPS works great for many over seas orders as the cost can be only $10 to $15 for air mail but no insurance so is at your risk. Also no tracking number. Priority Global is better but is more in the $20 plus range and does not have a tracking number. We are shipping mostly "Express Mail through the USPS and the cost is usually around $33 to Europe and Japan is $25 and can be more depending on the country for 1 pound packages. I also generally will ship the sales receipt for international orders in the mail so it is not in the package which is another $1.. So let me know if you need the recite please! We will work with you, just let me know what you need.! Will post some pricing below!

Also Next day has by 10:30 AM delivery. By noon and Saver which has limited availability and only saves a few dollars!

Reminder Postal service is shipped when I can! I have no set days of shipping!

USPS Priority Envelope $5.95 No insurance and no tracking number

USPS Priority Flat Rate Box $12.00 No insurance and no tracking number

Prices can very so this is just a good guide line but should be correct!

First price is for Express Mail 1 pound with no insurance but with a tracking number:

Third is for UPS Express which has a tracking number

USPS now has a small Priority box. It can not be insured but in most cases especially to Europe works well and is under $20.00. Will post as soon as I can below.
