Notes: This is your standard heavy duty all purpose survival knife. Quarter inch stock is plenty strong enough for most any job! The blade is hollow ground so is thin enough to re-sharpen with a modest amount of effort but still strong enough to retain its strength! The top edge is sharpened so you can pierce what ever you may need to in an emergency situation. That is the full story on this knife, if you had one tool for survival, this would be it! The knife also features a one directional saw, not the best but will work in an emergency and it is sharp! Also a steel butt cap with a signal mirror on the inside, a nice compass, magnesium fire starter and a roll of fishing supplies as well as a sharpening stone. The leather sheath is also 5 layers thick and hand stitched and has a covered pouch where the dark ceramic stone is stored. Again if you had just one tool there is a lot here plus about 12' of nylon cord line for what ever use maybe needed in the field!
